Honourable mention would be Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 which was my first console fps and a hell of a lot of fun. Ask me on another day and maybe it’s in my top 5 instead of Unreal or Duke.

1. Battlefield 1: game gets hate forn no reason. It's an incredibly well balances game with a great variety of weapons. Add in the codex, the improvements DICE has put in over time and that every map pack has been superb and this is as good as it gets. I've played almost nothing else for most of the last two years.

Cod4 by far. I still play it way too much.

Since I almost soley play FPS that’s a hard one.

Loved rage, there are talks of a sequel finally. Haven’t played in way to long I guess but I totally forgot it was FPS
 
I saw PS3 CoD MW2 brand new at Walmart inside the display case. You'd think they'd toss that in the clearance aisle by now.
 
re: red faction - fuck, i loved that game. if the multiplayer was better i would have put it top 5 fo'sure. but iirc, the multi sucked so bad that the game would have been better without it
