A draw would be supremely fucked. Would they both get an interim belt?

I don't see much chance of that happening UNLESS both get so defensive that it becomes a boring fight. But, if each fought to their full potential then something has got to break. Some of Max's former opponents have said that his greatest asset is that when you think you have him beaten down, he somehow manages to come back even more fiercely and beat you.

If its a controversial SD then that would make sense because all SDs are controversial. if its a SD and Max loses I suspect he takes a FW title defense or a Conor rematch. Conor would likely take that fight if he can't get a rematch with Khabib. Both would be coming off a loss in a title fight and a win for Conor could "Justify" a title shot.

If Poirier lost a SD I would feel bad for him as it would drop him down the ladder too much.
