I thought that it was a great fight myself. It may not have appealed to the "just bleed/brawl" fan base but it was technically sound and exciting!

Weird thing is a lot of casuals really liked it too and they tend to be the JUST BLEED types.

I loved it, Meisha is a better fighter than I thought she was. That second round was brutal, I was also impressed with Holy for having fight left in her after that. The 5th round was just inspiring

That's because of Meisha's amazing ass;)

Just kidding, sorta, lol. I did notice that too which is kinda weird...

I enjoy it. Much better than the average wmma fight.

I think even the casuals could see the high skill level between the two women, and sense the fierce will to win emanating from them, it made for great drama.

Absolutely.
I also think it was exciting for casuals to see a big WMMA fight that did not include RR.

Tate has shown improvement in every fight since losing to RR
For all the shit he receives, I think Caraway is a good coach.
He was great on TUF and obviously cornered Tate great.

Boom. Absolutely, it lets the causal know there are other women fighters of relevance besides Rousey, and in different weight divisons. It's a plus all the way around.

I will give him that, although I find him to somewhat annoying.

I think in years, this fight might look bigger than it does now.
It could really be a turning point for WMMA.
Before this, most casuals only saw one sided fights.
This was a lot of heart and grit.

I don't hate on him, but I have a hard time bonding with metrosexual guys lol

Eh it's not that what bothers me about him, he's being a bit too selective about his next fight and trying to be slick. I can understand it's his career on the line, but at the same time he comes off as a bit weasely.

I don't care enough about his fighting career to care lol

I think he has grown up a lot in the past few years, I give him credit.
I think he will wind up being a FT coach soon enough

Probably, he'll make a fine coach, but that's awhile away. I was shocked he beat Wineland, as I know his BJJ coach.

Doing this for @Area809

In another thread he brought up how he almost went to sleep during the Tate/Holm fight and wondered if others felt the same.
Since I can start a poll and he cannot .....
Did he fell asleep due to the first three boring fights on the main card?
