what is your favourite wrestling based takedowns in training?

what is your favourite judo based throws/trips in training?

what is your favourite submission to do in training?

also following that line what is your favourite submission to watch in mma and what is your favourite throw you like to see being used in the octogon?
i love seeing leg locks and a good harai goshi

Not MMA but Marcelo's elbow control armbar is a thing of beauty to watch. He hits that thing on high level guys and it almost looks fake at times as quick as it comes on and how easily he finishes it. He has really mastered every detail of that move.

I also really like watching all things brabo gi grip from Gui. All the variants of submissions that he uses off of that grip are really awesome to watch.

As a total newbie, the only ones I know are the RNC & a type of armlock. I don't know how to finish the Kimura, but just grabbing someones right hand & doing it really helps when fighting, it shuts their offense down completely.

Most useful probably, the choke from behind. All you need is the neck.

Favorite submission, I have seen is a mounted body-triangle combined with keylock(I think some call it a figure-four & some Americana). When you grab their wrist w/ your dominant hand, & then snake under & grab your own wrist...then twist their forearm in the opposite direction, which applies a torque to the shoulder & the more you turn it the more the shoulder will explode...whatever that is now called grappling.

Marcelo's elbow control indeed. His sweeps as well...omg.

i love me some flying armbar. not the fall-on-my-back-with-my-legs-open flying armbar, i mean the one with amplitude that's basically an upside-down seoi nage. everybody loves flying armbar. people completely unfamiliar to martial arts will still go "wow that was awesome."

plus it's fun! and it's not that hard either! collar tie -> jump front snap kick -> backfall -> armbar. easy peasy!

Nothing better than a well timed pendulum sweep against a bigger opponent.

Also- rolling bow and arrow vs turtle.

Of moves that I hit regularly, tornado sweep. Of moves I hit occasionally, harai goshi/o guruma.

1. Sweep single or a dump. Usually since our classes are pretty big our instructor doesn't want us to start standing fearing that someone may get hurt. On the no-gi classs though we start standing and if we don't ill still go for that dump from the knees. I just have to get an arm vertically on my chest with my and clap if to my shoulder using my head. It's a beautiful move. I actually hit it on a purple belt a few weeks ago.

2. I don't know any judo besides really basic throws but the grips i like are just the beginner wrist and collar grips.

3. As a beginner I don't go for submissions to often but I like to hit an omoplata after I fake a scissor sweep or a bow and arrow choke if I can take the guys back.

Throws: uchi mata, kosoto gake and osoto gari.
Submission: koshi jime (hip choke). Here an osoto gari that follows up with a koshi jime:

yeah flying armbars are great even if the only way i can pull them off
is trough ufc undisputed

I like the Russian grip for low singles and sumi gaeshi. A sitting/sliding armbar from standing is a favorite as well.
My best submissions tend to be joint locks. When I'm not playing around, almost all my finishes are armbar variations or in the footlock/kneebar/toehold chain.
My absolute favorite thing in all of grappling is watching someone's soul wither as their guard falls apart under some brutal pressure passing.
