I've just read a thread about some fighters having an "aura of invincibility" which reminded me how much I enjoy when a big underdog, who is facing a hyped up fighter/dominant champion, stays unintimidated, goes there and gets the job done.

For instance, Hall vs Gastelum, TUF finale fight. Uriah carried that aura of some next breed killer who will surpass Anderson Silva after his winning streak on the show. Kelvin gave zero fucks and went straight after him, it was impossible for me not to become a fan of the guy overnight.

Allways Mark Hunt. In k-1 and MMA.

Brock Lesnar vs the world.

and by world, I especially mean Frank Mir

Sonnen Vs Silva....

Fedor vs Nog. Came in there and acted like he wasn't in a championship fight with the greatest HW jui jitsu practioner at that time/of all time.

TJ Dillashaw with Barão
Weidman with Silva
Holm with Rousey

Michael McDonald vs Renan Barao

although he ended up losing was not intimidated and was winning imo

Sonnen Vs Silva....
That's the one, for me. Everybody who fought Anderson up until that point (I don't want to be specific) seemed scared of him. Chael just kept talking shit for 6 months before fight night and then finally took it to Anderson like no one ever had.

Weidman is the first name that comes to mind. Everyone would get shook when Anderson would start going all "matrix." Weidman not only stood his ground, but ended up KO'ing Anderson. Walked right through that aura and destroyed it permanently.

The only correct answer here is Dillashaw against Barao, I think he was one of the biggest underdogs ever and completely destroyed Barao, beat him in every single round.
