What is your favorite Mexican food? Mine is Chile Relleno. It's gotta be done right, though. Places like Roberto's make horrible chile rellenos.

I had Chile Relleno a few months ago.

I don't know if I have a favorite though, I guess its whatever I am in the mood for at a particular time.

Specifically my favorite dish is the Pollo Asado from this random restaurant in Puerto Nuevo, Mexico

I dig that breakfast with the eggs, green sauce, pork, peppers, and beans all on a hard shell.

Mexican is not at the top of my foodie list

But I do enjoy a classic hard shell beef taco with Guac.

Or a soft shell fish taco

I always like the basics of everything. So for me it's the steak burrito. My favorite bite is that chard beef with its juices mixed with beans and cheese and some of the rice and a few of the other ingredients.

Mexican breakfast bowls can also be appealing when in the mood for something heavier.

Some well done carnitas are awesome, and so versatile

2 pounds of pork shoulder, 1 pound of pork belly, some lard and an oven some mexican spices and three hours latter you've got yourself some delicious filling for a tortilla, or to serve over rice

Yes, Mexican food is my favorite.

The conundrum I sometimes face is if I should put avocado or sour cream on chicken dishes. All others dishes it's avocado but chicken stumps me occasionally.
Thin crispy shells and sauce that doesn't burn but makes me sweat.

    Fuk'n starv'n,
we got any tacos back there?

Carne asada burrito smothered in guacamole and pico de gaio, with a healthy portion of brown rice and refried beans on the side
