Love the position / submission. Already have the Danaher vid, which is excellent, but I want to take a deeper dive, get some different looks, see what else is out there. Now seems like a good time, with all the discounts.

So what’s yer favorite Kimura instructional?

Billy Robinsons double wrist lock dvd is my favorite. Very different from the regular kimura setups you usually see in BJJ. Mostly from different turtle positions.

I had Carlos Machados Infinite Jiu Jitsu set. 1 of the 6 dvds had a bunch of limits stuff. It’s over 10 years old but I learned so much stuff. Sans her covers most but Carlos machado explains it with less words and more charisma

Deblass has a lot of ways of finishing it from bottom half guard which is important. Instead of the tratitional way of gripping and ripping he shows ways to separate the arm, leg over the head etc which is very helpful.

I have Tom DeBlass's, I haven't watched very much of it but it looks solid. I'm not a huge Danaher fan, he puts me to sleep, but I'm sure his is very thorough.

Vagner Rocha's is interesting in that it's not so much a kimura instructional but a kimura/armbar/revrse triangle/backtake finishing sequence off kimura control with a couple of clear branches and descriptions of how to get to it from top, bottom and turtle.

I loved it when i saw it a few years ago and it ties really well in to Dave Camarillo's method of using kimura control to get to the crossed-feet from the armbar position then us it as a control position. Its not really a kimura set in the way some of the others are but more a kimura control set if that makes sense.
