So I'm currently playing a beta for Road Redemption, a game on Steam that replicates the old Road Rash games with today's visuals.

So the final track is.... to my amazement... Mario 64's Rainbow Road! Of course with the necessary changes to avoid a lawsuit. I emailed the developers saying how awesome that was, especially being able to kick other racers off the side, and suggested for them to include other classic videogame racing tracks into the final version and hopefully sequels.

So, one of the developers replied with 'Sure. Let us know what track you'd like to see in the game, and we'll look into it.'

And while I wish I could name a dozen tracks off the top of my head, I'm kinda stumped. Mario Kart 64 was the extent of my racing game experience, Kart and Road Rash. It's be kinda weak if I just suggest Wario's stadium

So guys, which were your favorite race tracks from classic video games?

You know I can't recall. That's a great fucking question and I should have an answer.

My favorite level for MP is The Edge in Q2. I know that answer instantly....

I'll have to revisit this.

So far, I've kept it short with 3 suggestions that I think would fit perfectly with RD's combat formula.

Mario Kart 64's Luigi Speedway and Wario's Stadium.
San Francisco Rush's advanced track.

The San Francisco Rush track that was just a giant playground stands out. I put countless hours into that.

Deep Forest Raceway in Gran Turismo is another. Some of the Project Gotham games had incredible tracks too.

Area 51 and North Pole from Twisted Metal 3.

Not technically "tracks" but could be adapted.

"Cliff Diver" from the OG Jet Moto.

"Freezing Point" from Coolboarders 2.

Oh no you didn't just make this thread. This is like crack to me.

Gran Turismo has to be Trial Mountain or High Speed Ring.
F-Zero GX is Fire Field, Lightning, Phantom Road, Cosmo Terminal.
Mario Kart is Rainbow Road.
F-Zero is Silence, White Land, and Mute City, Fire Field and Red Canyon (all variants).
For real life tracks it's gotta be the Ring. Love me some Laguna Seca too and passing on the corkscrew or Cote d'Azur and blasting by people through the tunnel.

Love the music on the F-Zero tracks too.

If Nintendo made a new F-Zero game I'd probably actually buy a WiiU.

Jet Moto! Aww man...Nightmare, Joyride, and Blackwater Falls definitely.
Chalk Canyon Raceway from Destruction Derby 2
Monumental from Freekstyle
Special Stage Route 11 and Tokyo Route 246 from Gran Turismo
Polar Pass, Roo's Tubes, or Cortex Castle from Crash Team Racing
If they could do some version of Tokyo Megaplex from the original SSX that would be crazy.

The tropical island track from super mario kart.
Laguna seca raceway in gran turismo 3.

any F-Zero tracks and Mario 64 tracks..

my favorite was Wario Stadium.
