Your BW and how many dips can you do?

    no rhyme or reason, just wanted to know :D

    my bw is 144lbs. max dips right now is 25 reps. all time PR is 55 at the same weight.

    Last year at 150lb probably 50. Dips was my strongest w/o. Now I bulk to 180 and probably 25-30 at most

    back in my football days and before I started mma training a million years ago, around 96ish, I was a dip maniac. I would have to lie to give a max rep number, but I did reps of 25 many times per workout.

    but, at 37, my elbows need replacing and my shoulders are getting pretty bad. Adding weight to dips did some damage, I think.

    Ok... I think I'm gonna start dips from now on, because I feel pathetic.

    based on that guys motion, 12 years and about 50lbs ago I could have done dips til the cows came home. cheater, cheater, shame on you.

    Yes, the ROM is not great. He did it on a whim and wasn't serious about the whole thing. But David Morgan could destroy full ROM dips and about anything else if he wanted to.

    wtf is that shit?

    It's easy to do a couple hundred dips when you barely go anywhere...that form is the equivalent of calling a crunchie a v-situp.

    Just tried dips on my little homemade dip device. At 222 pounds I did 27 full ROM dips all the way down all the way up. I was pretty impressed I never bothered to try it.

    If those are dips then I'd do around 200-300

    189 lbs & and 54 dips..full range of course
