interesting bit of info:

" Your bodyweight and squats
Biomechanists have determined the average person is squatting 75% of their bodyweight when squatting. Calfs and the lowest part if the knee don't count. So if you are a 225 lb lifter squatting 405, the actual weight moved is 574. Nice to know, but extremely useful if doing a program that advances by percents.

I'm wondering, if you take that 75% bodyweight into account on your squats, is your deadlift still higher than your squats? Post your stats

me:
corrected squats: 310
deadlift: 335

my deadlift is still greater.

Thats pretty interesting, but if your gonna correct your squat you'll have to correct your deadlift because I'm sure your bodyweight adds to it even though it's probably less than how much it adds to your squat.

And with that comment, stylesbjj's awesome new thread became a failure

I'll help.

Bodyweight - 153
Squat - 275
Adjusted Squat - 389.75
Deadlift - 405

Adjusted squat would be 587.5, Deadlift is 500.

I wont even put my numbers down because they are horrendous. I just started doing the 5x5 a few weeks ago, and I couldn't believe how weak my squats actually were. So yes, my DL would still be greater.
