How would that go down. The machida that fought Tito, soko, thiago Silva and Rashad vs current Israel.
    pretend that machida was 185lbs.

Machida was way too fast and accurate for Israel.

Young prime "unsolved puzzle" Machida sticks and moves to a unanimous decision victory

Again: two counter strikers = staring contest literally 9/10 times.

Then everyone leaves disappointed because most of these fucking sherdog dorks dunno shit about fighting and couldnt see it coming a mile away like a normal human being. Then ofc the mandatory verbal diarrhea about how one of the two fighters is an overrated can etc

    Machida was a finisher.

    I'd take Machida

It's way too early to make a verdict on Israel.

Anderson was in fine form given his age on Sat.

    At this point, Machida.

Israel could still improve but I think the Anderson fight really hurt his credibility.

Anderson looked great for 43, but he is 43.

He became a finisher by popular demand i think. Prime he never really looked for it right? And im not complaining i love watching him fight.

Edit: right now id take prime machida. Adesanya still has some time to grow possibily.

George Foreman won the belt in 46 or something bro.
    Or Post-Prime Bernard Hopkins.
It happens in the striking martial arts.

He was like 50/50 after a certain point. Did have his fair amount of decisions by the end.

Yea, i just mean when i think of a finisher i think of someone who is actively looking for it. Machida in His prime never really did. At least thats what i think and it is not a critisism.

Juicing "Prime" Machida takes current Israel for sure. I don't give a fuck about juicing then or now just making the distinction. Israel throws fancy kicks the only difference was Machida's actually hit people and turned out the lights. I always liked Machida and mainly because that pure karate background I find very interesting to watch. Anyone who hasn't seen the UFC Documentary on Lyoto growing up is missing out by the way.

Who didn't shit their pants watching this?

    or

Machida taking a page out of "Spider"nomics!

Couldn't have been more epic to retire Vitor to the same kick Anderson fed him.

Watching Jones choke his ass out standing like a savage was hard to watch.

Especially since he'd gone in to that fight on a 1-2 skid with no relevant wins in the previous 2 years just as a short notice injury replacement.

Ah, I see Machida is still overrated.

The X factor with Machida is whether or not his opponent has him figured out. He has the same bad habits and makes the same mistakes which some but not all fighters are able to capitalize on. Derek Brunson capitalized on it though, the same shit Machida did in his prime mind you. I would not pick Machida.
