You know you're an MMA/UFC "casual" when...

If you think GSP or Jones are the GOAT of anything
If you never saw Pride
You think the best fighters were always in UFC

You go onto Youtube videos of UFC fighters, and comment with your Conor McGregor avatar calling them "bums" along with repeating Conor McGregor insults as if you were the man himself.

you know you are an mma casual when you show up at the strip bar in anything but a conor fight kit

You call every split decision controversial.

you know you are an mma casual when you predict a fight will be won by split decision

You know you're an MMA "casual" when

1. You think Anderson Silva is the undisputed GOAT
2. You parrot that Fedor is the undisputed GOAT
3. You actively participate in debates about the GOAT
4. You watch but don't train anything
5. You make threads on sherdog (its true about 99% of the time)
6. You think the UFC has all of the good talent, and only watch the UFC

It's not a bad thing to be a casual though.
great post..

If you don't know Jim Cozad.
If you don't know Machida's favorite drink.
If you've never met BJ Pennat the airport.
If you didn't know Fedor had a brother.
If you don't remember fat Joe Riggs.
If you've never missed an episode of TUF, but haven't actually seen a PPV.
If you like Reebok uniforms.

Good ol' Cozad! Taught Randy everything he knew!

You remember the "good old days" of the UFC when Brock Lesnar was champion

Like most things the hate goes too far and then it becomes common (or casual in the sense you mean here) to believe such. So you are a casual if:

you hate Ronda and don't acknowledge anything she's done
you call Conor hype
you complain about every judging decision

Forest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar was the first UFC fight you ever saw.

Bas Rutten is "that guy from the workout video"

You boo fighters if they don't engage within 10 seconds of a match.

Pride is just a feeling or deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own achievements.
