I've been espousing a similar philosophy. People want or think UFC to be about one thing when it's about another and they can't accept what it is for what it is so they get mad. I mean, I get why they're mad but I am not too bothered by these things. Maybe it's because I grew up being constantly deprived, disappointed, and kicked around but I watch UFC and hope for good fights and beyond that I can't be too invested about all the wheelings and dealings that make the machine go. Sometimes it lines up with my ideals but when it doesn't I try not to cry too much. Just go with the flow wavy gravy and in the end nothing else matters.
