And i dont mean just squeak out a decision.. Im okay with the result.. They both showcased good skill but im sick of seeing people complaining about thes the split decisions.. I feel like the contender knows he should have to bring it or else he doeant deserve that strap.. Im on the e throne as i write these.. Good fight all in all

I've always thought that saying was so fucking stupid. A win is a win no matter how close it was and how much you barely squeaked it out. Champions shouldn't have an unfair advantage.

I agree. I think Gil won but he just let the fight become too close for a title fight.

Edgar squeaked out a decision to win the belt, and a draw to keep it.

Henderson squeaked out a decision to win the belt and to defend it twice.

Bendo didn't exactly light the world on fire when he beat Frankie in Japan

So, the champion starts with an automatic advantage should it go to a decision? Is this fair?

It's kind of hard for them to not have an unfair advantage when the judges have a horrible sense of knowledge of the sport.

I'm sick of people saying this retarded shit, it's the judges have a hard on for Ben, it's not because it was close and they chose the champ.

This phrase originated from boxing when there was corrupted judging, it holds no merit here...

Thats just how the politics im the UFC works.. I didnt agree with it at first either but that seems like how its been going and challengers should know that going in

so bendo could just run around the cage and not get hit and win

Still haven't watched the whole fight, just rds 4 and 5, I kept hearing it was a great fight

Well Frankie's face was bloody and according the retarded mma fans, is one of the most important factors when deciding who won.

Easy way to solve this is to finish the fight. And lets be honest..this fight was so close I don't understand how anyone is yelling robbery or anything along those lines. I saw the Fight 2,3,4 for Henderson. I can see how Gil got round 2 though, but that's the problem, there was no clear cut winner, so Henderson remains champ, and we'll do this again in the future i'm sure
