I remember everyone bashing Ronda in the Holly fight, claiming she was too busy doing interviews and movies and didn`t train for the fight, now Conor wants to train more and doing less press conferences, he even said he wants to do one to promote the fight, but all conferences would take a lot of preparation time and he understandably wants to train more and everyone is bashing him for that...You simply can`t win with the fans, to me it looks like the majority here comments base on hating the fighter and not in the subject itself, much like with brazilians\americans with PED`s UFC\PRIDE comparisons etc.

you are winning w the fans if they talk about you - most peopel arent happy enough in their own lives to be able to speak positively about others - they are going to be speaking criticually / judgmentally about something / someone - if you are chosen to be that person, then good for you - if you expect fans to be positive and nice then you havent worked in the service sector much / at all

conor and ronda got really rich by getting undre peoples skin / being worshipped by others - thats all that matters for them, they made money by creating stories and letting people get emotional bout them

Well if people dislike you, they'll find any reason to do so even if it means that they have to make up a ficticious narrative e.g. Conor's duckung Edgar. It tends to be hardcore fans because, in virtually every field, the hardcore fanbase tend to hate the guys casuals like.
