every fighting game ever has been like that... and it's to combat people deciding whether or not the other player gets to see the intro/cutscenes. you both have to agree on it. why would one person get to decide what happens in between the fights?

Yes but those games have only 10 second intros and there are no minute long breaks in between rounds.

Huge difference in watching scorpion from mortal kombat say get over here, and watching a full fucking walkout that youve seen a thousand times. Its stupid and a waste of time. People that dont skip are shit heads
