1: Get by the elite of the Division, Marlon Moraes, ect.
2: Defend the belt at least "HALF" as many times as the Goat did.

    3. Clear your division
Sorry Tj, you ain't the goat of the division. Same goes for Cruz. Maby in a few years, but not right now. Good luck.

    Doesn't really make sense,

There is a best until they are not the best anymore.

MW has alot of history and a higher standard, manlets divisions dont have such requirements yet.

Cruz is the best, followed closely by TJ but yeah not alot to work with when you compare to older divisions.

Exactly why the arguement of Mighty Mouse as GOAT is flawed and frankly laughable.

MM defended his belt 12x times. Robbed. He is the goat of his division.

Does the belt really matter if you beat a top 5 guy?

TJ beat the number 1 contenders Assuncao and Lineker while Dom was fighting old man Faber and losing to an unproven Garbrandt.

TJ's last 5 wins are over the highest ranked Bantamweights at that time, Cody (twice), Lineker (then ranked #2), Assuncao (then ranked #2), Barao (then ranked #1).

The premise does not follow. After getting a narrow split decision he lost to Garbrandt who clowned him. TJ was fighting his N1 contenders in the mean time and then finished the guy that clowned Cruz twice over.

You're also not the goat if you pop for PEDs multiple times.

He absolutely is the goat of HIS division, I never said he wasn't.

He's not on the top 5 of pound for pound and should never be unless 125 gets real elite contenders.

So....to be the best Bantamweight, you have to have an arbitrary number of title defenses relative to a former Middleweight champ. Got it.

Yeah, I don't think so. I agree he must beat Rivera/Moraes/Cruz to become the goat of 135, but he is doing just fine.

Tj Beating Cody does not apply to cruz, Cruz dominated TJ on 2year layoff which says alot... also Cruz loss to cody was a decision where he had no footage of codys weak zones like he does now. Cruz wins and record is also alot more mpressive than TJ. Tj ducked Mighty mouse while Cruz handled em.

Codys win over Cruz was a decision as well, fail more. Cruz beat Tj off 2 year layoff.

What are these arbitrary stipulations you're adding? Cruz dominated TJ? It was a fight that had everybody split on who won. Former training partners don't count? TJ was the one ducking MM? Fuckin Troll thread.

Ya he clearly ducked Mighty mouse, he could have dropped down and fought him whenever he wanted. You Tj fanboys are to funny. He had all the time in the world to make that fight happen. Too bad cody wasnt champ, he would have made it happen.

TJ was pushing for it, UFC was pushing for it, MM wasn't having it. Both fighters must accept and sign a contract. Are you an idiot? What do you mean too bad Cody wasn't champ? He was. The fuck is this thread?

I'm not even sure how to respond to that, nor would TJ

First off you can't even spell whooped and secondly, that fight was as close as a fight can get without being a draw. It was the closest most narrow margin I've EVER seen a champ lose their belt by.

No... they wouldn't pay mighty mouse anything to fight that superfight. They did not try to make it happen at all, they wont even promote DJ and now they robbed him of a clear win last week. #Fixed
