I thought this was gonna be that anal bump procedure (is it the same guy?)
glad it wasn’t
who knew he would be so ticklish?!! Lol
I don't think so. The guy is Beau Hightower, a chiropractor.
Isn’t chiropractic or whatever pseudoscience? Does it actually work?
From what I understand, there are chiropractors that are providing a legitimate service but these are the minority. There are relatively few things they can accomplish, and it's quite a specific branch of medicine. At the same time, there are a lot of quacks promising all sorts of things. These are the ones we mostly encounter/see.
I stand to be corrected by anyone who knows better.
yes it works. if you have a sore back or shoulders, seek help from a profesional. they can also tell you if your injury is to much for them meaning you might need surgery or to see a doctor. dont let people "flat earth" your back and neck pain.
The vast majority is BS, but some are really good.
I think I would only visit a chiropractor if I had like a stiff back and poor posture, I wouldn’t let anyone crack my neck though, that could mess you up big time.
"Yoel Romero is legitimately terrifying. He's a freak. The freak of all freaks. Sweetheart of a guy when I had him on my podcast with Joey Diaz last week."
"Dude is 67 and still first team All-Body."
Rogan said it was founded on complete bullshit. I like Joe but as he says of himself, he's a moron.
As far as I know, there is no evidence to back up claims that it can help with medical problems. I mean, lots of then claim they can move your bones etc.
I think the vast majority of chiropracters are quacks and the others are basically massage therapists.
I had a chiropractor mess up my lower back from bad to worse.
Then had a team of PTs put that shit back in working order, more or less.
MORAL: trust real PTs, not chiro-conmen.
Take care of your spine, you only have one.
It is the same guy
In this video he does the anal bump lol
Oh yes, lol I haven't seen that one.
If you go to a doctor yes. A medical doctor.
But I don't know if they're called chiropractors. I think they are called orthopedists.
Some chiropractors can help you, but in certain scenarios they can mess you up too. Cause they are not doctors. On the other hand, doctors can mess you up too, just not as often.
The reason why chiropractors aren't legit is cause as a doctor you need to know certain other shit and not just bones and muscles. The orthopedist will know general medicine as well and can better identify what the issue is, cause not every pain comes from bones and muscles. There might be some hidden shit that the "chiropractor" will miss cause he lacks 10 years of medical knowledge.
You might think your back is jacked but in reality you have kidney issues.
Or you might think that you have muscle fatigue cause of overtraining while in reality you have magnesium deficiency.
Bottom line, if a REAL doctor identifies that the problem is a physical one, like twisted ankle or some shit, THEN he can send you to a chiropractor to massage your shit.
There probably aren’t peer reviewed studies that back up their claims. That said, I think if multiple athletes attest to its effectiveness then it has to count for something.
multiple people also attest to Benny Hinn being able to blast demons out of their bodies on stage during a sermon and then they fall to the ground convulsing as the demons leave their bodies, so must be legit since more than one person attest to it
Obviously peer reviewed objective study is preferable but that doesn’t mean anecdotal evidence is worthless. It’s easy to fool yourself into thinking demons have been exorcised if you want to, it’s harder to fool yourself into thinking that your back pain has gone away because there will be a constant reminder if it hasn’t.
