I personally had the same scorecard as Bertrand. I was a little surprised when I saw that only one of the judges gave Gus round 3. I was also surprised to see Gus win round 2 on Crosby's card..
All in all I wish Gus had won but it was a great fight and hoping for a rematch.
Personally I see the biggest moment of the fight was round 4, and Bones landed the elbow that hurt Gus and started his best offense of the fight. I think Gus was winning round 4 up until that point but being put in danger from the big elbow stole the round. How badly he was hurt is debatable but it was the only moment of the fight that you could atleast see one of them to be in some trouble.
Without that elbow landing I personally think Gus wins round 4 which would give 3 rounds and possibly the win from two judges. So IMO that moment may of been the reason he wins that fight..
So glad what I expected to be a one sided fight turned into a fight of the year contender.

2nd question, how would you feel personally if Gus was given the rematch and Glover had to wait for his chance?

I had it the same as Bertrand. Very very close fight, and the best title fight I've seen since I started watching the UFC.

I agree with none of the scores either way though.

None of the judges can agree either. The judging system in the UFC has become a joke. Might as well make a new system where people can tweet and text message in their own opinion and the majority will get get the decision..

Hell, It would probably work better than what we've been getting from professional judges.

How do you become a professional score card judge anyway? I'm guessing it's a trickle down effect from the glory days of boxing

Jones wants no part of gus again. Who would after getting beat up that bad. Jones is hoping gus loses his next fight so he won't have to face him again. His excuse makes no sense at all. His goal is shattering the record,if that's the case then it would make no difference record wise if he beat gus or glover right? He wants no part of gus again for sure.

Round 2 is the only round I struggled with, initially I scored it for Gus, however upon review I gave it to Bones by a very slight margin. Bertrand got it right.

The judges pretty much sum it up. Round 1 is clear for Gus, and 4 and 5 were clear for Jones, leaving the two swing rounds.
