I'm saying Mousasi didnt left UFC for not being good enough. He left UFC in a winning streak worthy of a tittle shot because he got offered better money elsewhere.

If he had faith in being champ he would take the UFC deal take the belt and then negotiate his next contract.

I think Machida would be awesome, people forget he has really good trips and throws too.

Also, even a prime Sonnen would have been interesting. For real now who do we have? Canonneir is 36 goddamn years old, Whittaker has been burnt out already, Gastelum just got beat, Costa was outed as one dimensional, Romero is 40 something years old.

I think Whittaker is going to paste Canoneir anyway, then what do we have, a rematch of that fight?

Its like Whitaker and Adesanya are the only young fighters in that whole division apart from Costa, who looked completely outclassed.

Hermansson and Chimaev who is in the rise are the most interesting match ups imo. Also Mousasi, but he is not in UFC.

Maybe some of the former great graplling especialist - Jacare, Weidman and Rockhold - has a last run on him.
Jacare beat Blachowick in his last fght imo.

Anderson / Adesanya clearly the two best middleweights of all time by far.

The division seemed stacked when Anderson fell away. Purely because he was so far ahead of everyone it felt closer when he exited his prime.

Now suddenly it FEELS thin again because Israel is miles ahead of everyone.

The difference is that there were wrestlers at Anderson's era.
On the contrary, there are zero wreslters now. Zero.
By wrestlers I mean fighters like Sonnen, Okami, Wideman, etc. Not wreslte-able guys like Romero.

And the second Bobby fight was a clear cut victory as well.
Its a shame the fighters in their prime today can't beat 45 yo man.
