I just dont get this. Jones has never fought HW. He beats DC twice as LHW. We all know he became champ cause Jones was out. Now Jones tells him you vacated the belt cause I came back. And if you want it....come and get a 3rd beating. Instead he is basically saying I cant beat you at LHW.....how about HW. Its Cormier who should be desperate to avenge the loss and he is not. Deep down he knows Jones is better.

Jones has also said that he doesn't want to fight DC at heavy because that is where DC is most effective. DC only ever went to light heavy to avoid fighting his friend Cain, but everyone knew he was at his best at heavy. DC fought Jones twice at Jones best weight class and Jones was on some shit at least one of those times. Why can't Jones man up and go to heavy to fight the guy he supposedly owns?

Because he is not HW and dont owe DC anything. He was always fighting in that division. Why DC fight in LHW is not his business. DC vacated his belt as soon as the real champ came back. Jones asked what kind of champ vacate his belt to a guy that beat him twice. The truth is DC knows a 3rd loss would really clear everything. But he prefers to have cloud written over past losses and save face
 
Going from what we know of Jon's character, I'm sure he'll grant DC his HW wish. Heart of gold.
 
To all the people saying Jones doesn't owe DC anything, I think it's the other way around. DC doesn't owe Jones anything, clean athlete, two division champ, fighter of the year. Losing to Jones (and sometimes to PED/coked-Jones) doesn't change that.
If DC wants to fight him at HW, that's fine, if he doesn't that's fine as well. DC has earned the right to do whatever the fuck he wants.

I think title holds no value here. Almost nobody cares who's the champion.

They should fight at catchweight / crusierweight.
 
According to the wiki, he had one loss. Well, as a Jones hater, I... choose to believe DC only had one loss. Lol!

what you just don't get is that many (if not most) people consider jone's wins irrelevant because of his doping habit
 
The thing works both ways and I’m not interested in either fight. Jones* won’t go up. Cormier won’t go back down as long as this Lesnar fight looks promising. So whatever.
 
Since DC can walk around at 250 something and Jones is normally 230 something, I wonder how Jones would be if he cut to 185
