Front yard looks like it has alopecia and the back yard has large grass less spots. Can I save this with some seed work or do I need to call people in to chop out the shit grass and lay down fresh sod? From what I've read in past threads, sod is no guarantee. It can fail to take and then you're out the money and effort.

Human feces does the trick. Big Cow has been hiding the benefits of of the human stuff for years. I've sent out a blanket request to all your neighbors and they've agreed to help out. You must be liked.

I did all my own prep and sod work a couple years ago. Saved a lot of money. Don't be scared of hard work, fatty!

Milorganite is a brand of biosolids fertilizer produced by treating sewage sludge by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. The term is a portmanteau of the term Milwaukee Organic Nitrogen. The sewer system of the District collects municipal wastewater from the Milwaukee metropolitan area.

Cut your losses, sell the house and move into an apartment. Or go for a comb over.

You have to figure out what caused the issue to begin with. My grass was dying like this and it was chinch bugs. Funny thing is as soon as I got rid of them I watched them destroy my neighbors yard. He had to resod and hired true green to maintain his lawn. I had to start following this calendar for my area where they tell you when and what products to put on your yard. Since I've been doing that my lawn is great. Back yard is still recovering from weeds but I nearly lost the whole thing so it's going to take some time. Got about close to 3/4 of it back so far but the rest is weeds.

If you have a nearby university with an agricultural program, check if they offer soil analysis. This can tell you what the soil needs before you kill the shit out of new grass.

Lol I'm pretty sure it was your thread I'm referring to when I said someone sodded their own. If you succeeded, I have complete faith I can.

Artificial grass looks pretty good these days.

Fuck mowing and lawn care.

Rent an aerator
Add weed and feed fertilizer
Buy field and turf conditioner and mix grass seed into the mix
Water accordingly
Is there a reason to not buy one vs renting? The push ones are cheap,
