Eh they are giving her the star treatment. She is probably going to do well but lose as soon as they hit the big stages. Chinese mma is still very rudimentary. The fighters don't cut weight much and it shows when they compete internationally against other folks.

With her speed, should have targeted the body (or lead leg) instead. Less give, more damage.

There's a lot of good talent coming out of China now for men and women.

Not rooting for either but will watch. Yan Xiaonan has excellent striking complemented with fast leg kicks. Syuri Kondo is an interesting character who also did pro wrestling.

I thought Yan was not terribly impressive in her last outing to be honest. She seems a classical case of a technical, polished striker that has trouble getting gritty and pushing the pace beyond her comfort zone.

Should be a good fight. Kondo's striking is nowhere near Yan's ;eve;, but I see her posing some challenges in the grappling department, where Yan is rarely tested.
