Was a pretty great night of fights, IMO. Opening bout had a controversial decision, I thought Ryan Thomas got robbed. Jp Reese looked good against prospect Daniel Swain, on short notice none-the-less. Dave Courchaine looked like a beast at lightweight, feel bad he pulled Luis Santos in his debut a few months ago... definitely think he is in the right division now. Solid liver kick to the Kung Fu kid by Townsend (who also had an awesome entrance)....that fight was a bit entertaining to watch. O'grady had a great promotional debut knocking off XFC gate-keeper Eric Reynolds, then Brazilian Deivison Ribeiro won the title in a very evenly matched championship fight against Sharipov.

If you missed it, be sure to check out the highlight reel and visit XFCMMA.com

I'm excited to see what happens in 2014 with XFC expanding to Latin America and starting the MMA Copa series. Brazil's champs will fight the USA champs here in America for a World Cup style championship. Always enjoy seeing other promotions growing Worldwide.

Your link isn't linked, and Ryan Thomas (IMO) looked pretty bad against a not too high level opponent, imo. Falling down after a guy throws a coupole punches often looks like a knockdown, and even if it isn't maybe it should be counted like one. Werdum outstruck Reem but kept falling down. Thomas looked scared everytime there was a potential exchange of strikes, you can avoid the exchanges and execute a game plan without looking scared. I was glad he lost.

O'grady had a nice win in the co-main, getting out of the guillotine that got him vs Kitoaka in his last fight, and getting the finish.

That was about it from XFC on AXS form last week from what I saw.

I missed the main event since my DVR cut it off at about the 2nd round.

Courchaine looked great though.
