Now obviously people are gonna be biased towards the system they own, but some have played both and few actually both, so I'd like to get your take on which console you think is better overall and why?

Have both. Ps4 Collects dust, XBone is simply superior.

Have both. PS4 collects dust. Prefer the X1 because of exclusives, controller, UI, voice commands, and more of my friends are on it.

PS4, none of the XBOX exclusives interest me.

I dont really prefer either, but it makes more sense to buy the PS4 if I had to pick one simply because Microshit will port most of their exlusives to PC at some point most likely.

To be fair, neither has appeal because the games I want are all getting ported to PC so it doesnt matter.

Haven't seen a big enough difference from the last generation so I still haven't bought either. My Room mate has a PS4 though, it seems kinda cool.

I'm planning on buying a PS4 purely because the exclusives are more appealing to me.

But to be honest, there's very little that's making it seem worth the investment so far.

No Man's Sky looks awesome though. That might get me to shell out the money for a new console.

Xbone though I have nothing against Sony.

Last gen I had both 360 and ps3, but I bought 360 first and played everything on it. Ps3 was for exclusives.

eventually I will buy a ps4 for exclusives

Bloodborne is the only exclusive I care about on either system and that is on PS4.

Xbox mainly for exclusives, but the amount of updates and content they are throwing at the system is pretty good as well.

I've owned both but returned my X1. Both the systems are good but with the PS4 outputting higher resolutions and being the same price that's the easy choice. X1 is still outputting in lower resolutions dragon age was released at a lower resolution. I have a 60 inch TV and I sit like 6 feet away if that. So resolution matters to me.

All that matters really is the exclusives if exclusives don't matter to you then get a PS4. A lot of the multiplat games are performing better on that system.

I'm just pissed that I spent $140 on the Xbox 360 SF4 arcade stick and it's useless now. Greedy Mad Catz

I got the ps4 since I've always been a playstation guy. now that Street Fighter 5 is exclusive it was definitely the right decision for me.

that said, both consoles have a really bad games lineup considering they have been out for over a year.

I went with PS4 because of their stranglehold on great exclusives that really appealed to me last gen.

Now into 2015, it looks like I made the right call.

Really the only exclusive Microsoft put out that interested me was the MCC and it looks like they shipped that one as a broken mess.

Bloodborne, The Order, Uncharted, No Man's Sky, it's shaping up to be a good year.

I might consider an Xbox in a few years though I'm getting a Wii U before that.
