My predictions for today:
Kross vs Sami - I don't see them having Sami lose here.
Rhea vs Rodriguez - This could end up being match of the day since they had a banger of a street fight back in NXT. I see Raquel taking this one with help from my "favorite" smurf - Roxanne.
Asuka vs Jade - Can Asuka drag Jade to a good match? Ehhhhh, I'm not so sure about that. Asuka should win in a squash, but I don't see that happening. Maybe Naomi causes Jade to lose? Sadly I think Jade wins here.
Fatu vs FAT-Tu - If they just let them brawl this could be fairly good. I fully expect interference from JC and Jimmy, but will anyone else get involved? Will we see both US championships change hands in less than 24 hours apart? I say yes to both. Solo wins with help from one of the thousand other "family" members.
Cody vs Randy - This would be the other match that has a chance to be match of the day. Think this will be pretty straight forward with both guys turning more and more heel as the match goes on. Do they have Randy lose in the finals two years in a row? Yup, Randy has already had his "last" match with Cena, and everything has been building for Cody to get his rematch. Cody wins, but gets an RKO for his effort.
Cena vs Punk - The winner is pretty clear, it's how are they going to get there - and will it be any good? - is the question. I don't expect a mat classic, but I am looking forward to this match. Cena retains.
Now, how I WANT Cena winning is by one of three ways:
1. Drew shows up and stops Punk from winning. Payback is a bitch Mr. Punk, and Drew is coming to collect! I don't see this happening since I'm pretty sure Drew is still injured, but I would love to see it.
2. Only slightly less desired would be for Seth to show up, not to even cash in, but just to make sure Punk doesn't win. It wouldn't make tons of sense if he wasn't trying to cash in, but I'd still love to see Seth's hate for Punk be that petty.
3. Roman returns and stops Punk from winning. Payback for the "favor" from Paul. This is probably the least likely of the 3.
