how would this fight have played out.

condit has the granite chin and the striking creativity

Rumble has the size and wrestling and power.

Would have been an interesting fight and as much as we know about Rumble now its hard to imagine he would be outstruck by anyone but imo I think Condit would have caught him somewhere and tkod him.

i think condit by submission is your answer

Rumble will need to spend half a year in Aushwitz to fight at 170 again. Ànd i think it won't do any good to him performance-wise.

Condit has problems with people who can put him on his back. Rumble can put Condit on his back.

I think the biggest question is is the fight going to be 3 or 5 rounds?
3 rounds favour Rumble.
5 favour Condit.

rumble would gas in 1 round at 170 so more than 1 round favour condit.

Conor knows his bread and butter is being a bully and cutting 30 pounds.
DC cuts weight to make 205, Rumble has tried to be a bully at a lower weight class, RDA cuts 25lbs to make 155. Robbie cuts from 200lbs to make 170.

Everybody cuts weight, I don't get why there should be a double standard for Conor? If you can make the weight then there's nothing to complain about.

Size doesn't guarantee victory.

Conor is fighting at 168lbs, that's 22lbs over and he was eating as much as he could to try and make 170lbs.

Seeing how at the presser he said he was 177 he still cut 7-8 pounds to make weight.

Gotta watch the presser again. It was earlier than later but I can't remember the exact part.
I actually heard him say he didn't have to cut a single pound for the fight. He came in at 168, so that should be obvious.

Back in Rumble 170lb days, it seemed like he would either blast an opponent in the first round OR get submitted by RNC. Condit at that time had more experience and could finish via strikes or submissions. I would say Condit would have won by submission.
