Wonder if he's holding out for the McGregor rubber
This. Win-win for both. After that they can do it again in boxing and probobly another trilogy. Then they become best friends and make a new whiskey flavoured with Nate's own sativa strain.I like the Diaz bros but man Khazmat would put him in the hospital. Just make the McGregor trilogy and retire.
Makes no sense for him to fight D level newcomers. Why would a C level fighter like Nate take a fight like that
While Nate Diaz was ducking Khamzat Chimaev he threw his training partner under the table, and suggested that Khamzat fight that unknown guy, then the camera is pointed to the guy in shock.
He ducks Colby too
Duck season
So called BMF…
Nick Maximov did not look too enthusiastic about the prospect of fighting Khamzat.
I don't blame himDucked Khamzat and Colby in the same interview lol.
Has Conor ducked many people?Conor taught these guys well. Duck season is open.

But people are just calling it what it is. There aren’t many bigger fights for Nate than Khamzat. Probably none. Nate acting as if Khamzat doesn’t deserve to fight him is the joke. Or isn’t a big enough name for him. That’s what’s transparent. Khamzat Nate would be a huge ppv co-main, or headline a non-ppv card. Nate doesn’t like the matchup. That’s fine. But we all see it……he’s doing what’s best for him. But we see it….People are hating on Nate a lot about this. Why? He's on his last fight, and he wants it to be a top-ranked guy. Nothing wrong with that, and if anything, it's admirable.
Consider that Nate, unlike the MANY other top 10 fghters at 170lbs, fought Leon Edwards. He even expressed interest in fighting Luque, who might be the most dangerous guy at WW right now. It's not like he's wanting to fight cans or some other fighters that are past their prime or in retirement. So what he doesn't want to fight Khamzat; Nate's been in the UFC for 15 years and he's been fighting the best in the world for most of that entire time. Khamzat is great, but he just got here last year!!!
Nate's an OG of the UFC at this point. He deserves to be able to fight whoever he wants.
Nate is already past his prime, but you are right about sitting on the bench too long wasting prime fighting years.Sounds like a great plan, but Im sure brother Nick thought the same thing....next thing you know your 40 and broke and realize you wasted a lot of time on the bench instead of fighting in his prime years.
