it was 1 of those stoppages where they were so fuckin done and everyone knows it but we wanted it to keep going anyway cuz we wanna see somebody get sleepered. Id compare it to the nunez vs ronda stoppage, good stoppage but we were pissed anyway

Lewis was on the verge of a heart attack. Could barely stand. No power left. The ref doesn't owe you a knockout. Good stoppage and Lewis can consider himself lucky he didn't get KO'd. McGregor Diaz was never that. In the first fight McGregor gassed but not gasping for life and wobbling like Lewis. At the end of the day the fighters well being is more important.
 
If Steve Percival had been reffing Mark would still be very slowly punching Lewis's head in right now.
The stoppage looked very shitty but was correct.
 
After derailing the black beast wagon, most likely it's the african wagon next for Hunt

Don't know what the hell you were watching. He was just letting Hunt tee off on him, looked like he was done do to crap cardio. There is no comparison to Connor and Nate...FFS.

As far as who's trained, do your coaches tell you to do dumb crap like bend over forward while covering your head?

Look into his eyes, he had no more fight left in him, yes he was gassed, but so was Conor in the 2nd Diaz fight and fought through and got the W. he gave up mentally and yea he was physically done as well. Francis Ngannou would've fucked Lewis up tonight lol it would always get me when people would say Black beast was the future of the division. that dude is just a hype job. he's got KO power, but sloppy skills.

Dude, he was completely done. He says it was his back, who knows. He had nothing left in that fight. I thought he couldn't deal with Hunt's head level being at a height he wasn't used to, but maybe his back made it hard for him to punch down.
