WSOF Global & International Combat Elite talk recent partnership as the representative for the UK

As many of you fans, fighters, coaches or whatever part of MMA you may be apart of. WSOF (World Series of Fighting) have officially announced there expansion and partnership with International Combat Elite in the UK as WSOF UK.. ICE has now become the seventh promotion to be apart of WSOF Global.

ICE FC and a few words from Vice President & Matchmaker Jason Lilly regarding the recent affiliation and a breakdown of what this all means.

Some very interesting points have been discussed, very exciting for not just WSOF Global and ICE FC as a brand, but a big step in the right direction for MMA within the UK.

That deal was a long time coming. I've been working on it since January. So happy to have Tom Blackledge and the ICE FC team as part of the Global Family. They're a solid product, they know how to run a show, develope talent, and build for the future.

It was indeed, but I know ICE are a very reputable organisation and thrive on professionalism, so everything was looked at before making the decision - to ensure it was the right decision at the right time.

As they should of course. I'm just glad it all finally got finished. ICE FC was big on my wishlist. Their fights are solid and Blackledge has put in very hard work.

Like all WSOF-GC affiliate plans, it is a longterm one. But I have a feeling out of the current 7 affiliates we'll see the biggest moves from ICE in the near future.

You defiantly will, UK MMA is looking good for the forseeable future - also some great fighters coming through from Blackledge MMA which I'm sure will pull through the strings in months and years too come, very exciting!
