Yep, expect Moraes in the NYC event, I don't see the UFC paying him this kind of cash . I agree with you

I don't think WSOF will offer him that much on his next deal now that Ali is no longer part of that promotion. That dude is sleazy as fuck and must have been laundering money or something. There's no other explanation for Moraes to be making this kind of dough in a promotion that holds events next to high school volleyball games.

I'd love to see someone post a pay breakdown of a regional or local level event, curious how that would stack up to the bottom rung guys in orgs like WSOF

The ones I know of, your salary is determined mostly on a percentage of tickets you literally sell.

Great. They can pay him 180k for an event 200 people will show up at after probably giving away 2,000 tickets. What a gate!

The point is that WSOF is not going to give him anywhere close to that money ever again. He is never going to get 90/90 from them. His manager played the money men behind WSOF as fools and conned them by getting his fighters sweet deals to fight cans in a promotion where most fighters earn nothing. Marlon doesn't draw flies to WSOF's programming and doesn't sell one ticket. WSOF doesn't get a dime from NBC and has no real revenue streams. They had an around 375k payroll for this event without selling any tickets and it drew nothing on NBCSN. So what the hell was the point? To go out of business quicker?

He will sign with UFC cause the money won't be there in the dying WSOF and he wants more than 200 people to know who the hell he even is.
