Perfect. July 5th weekend is a MMA fans dream.

Not a smart decision. Why would you put the event on the same day as 175? By far the UFC's biggest event of the year.

the problem for WSOF will be the media attention. Everything will be on UFC 175 that week/day.

I'm not sure. Every year tons of independant wrestling companies leech off the WWE by putting there show right before Wrestlemania. This always results in higher ticket sales and more views, since everyone gets caught up in wrestling fever.

Will this work for WSOF? I'm not sure. But it's possible.

I assume that they would have their prelim card on NBCSN so basically you would have 4 hours of WSOF fights leading into 5 hours of UFC fights all in the same day. Great day to be an MMA fan.

word. Seems like a smart move. I know a lot of people will be sitting around waiting for the UFC card so they can watch this too. Can't wait.
