I know our local college has a wrestling club, as do a couple highschools here in san antonio.
I'm kindof interested in practicing and even competing.some if there is a oppurtunity to do so. Are there wrestling tournaments that adults can attend here in texas?

Is this common? I feel a bit odd approaching the club or highschools, as their programs are for students. Is there a federation of some sort to contact?

Do you go to UTSA? I'm on the club team here and the first tournament is next saturday on nov. 6, it doesn't matter how old you are to compete. As long as you're taking 6 hours then you can be on the team and compete.
