WOW more fighters should go Bellator and get "paid"

these are not real numbers, just official payroll for the fighters. They need to make it public, but they don't disclose the total real numbers they make.

This is how it works since 2001 in the fighting business, don't believe in what you see or heard.

You people are so beyond retarded it hurts. It hurts.

So what you're saying is, while Bellator is paying fighters dog shit, UFC is paying fighters in dog shit but with a nifty brown bag to go with it which is worth a little more.

The lesser of the evil right? Such morons you people are

Dat Bellator prelims paper doe!$!$!$!$!$!$!

What they are saying is market rates are determined by what others are willing to pay you to do something. if NO ONE is willing to pay you more you either do something else or stick with the highest paying and realize maybe you are not doing so bad for that profession.

it is moronic to criticize the one who pays the most and pushes thing like benefits the most when the rest of the market would give peanuts in comparison.

No crap.......prize fighting is high-risk and high-reward. If on average it paid as well as a solid 9-5 job with benefits and a retirement plan, more people would do it. The best of the best make large sums of money, the good ones do well, and the mediocre to poor get crumbs. Not a bad deal for something that requires no formal education.

A real picture of 0hm

OP did not take into account how much the fighters were paid by sponsors on top of their pay from Bellator.

Typical UFC shill thread.

Typical Bellator retard who thinks the sponsorship money at bellator is like fucking air jordans or something .

Seeing those cards side-by-side makes me realize how bad fighter pay sucks across the board. Most of those people might as well get 9 to 5 jobs, get promoted in their 30s and retire with a semi-comfortable job. It sucks to say that but it's the truth.
They don't just hand those out either. You have to usually obtain a degree of some sort and work your way into that position.

You really think guys on Bellator prelims are making 20K in sponsors to make the difference of an entry level UFC contract? Bellator pays their prelim fighters less than Reebok pays newly signed fighters.

Josh Thomson, who entered Bellator with a lot of media attention has a 10K contract with no win bonus and said he made 35K from sponsors.

Dang happy to see Joe Bwon and Pyle are making pretty good money

Mike Pyle earns more than double of Wonderboy's pay.
This made my blood boil.

Better than Rebook money in the
U Fight Cheap Organization.

Typical UFC shill

UFC is the top organization and they still pay like shit trying to compare them to a company that hasn't been around as long and isn't a household name to justify UFCS pay.

Both have terrible pay

Stop defending the UFC

Trying to lump them together loses the important distinction that the UFC pays low and mid tier fighters significantly more than Bellator does. If you think fighter pay is an issue, then Bellator is worthy of as much or more criticism than the UFC.

I'm sure the big dogs get paid though
If by big dogs you mean the guys who made a name outside Bellator and take that money from actual top fighters, then yes. Dada5000 and Kimbo will probably make big money.

Fighters make more in Bellator due to the FACT that they can have sponsors while in the cheapskate organization called the UFC the only sponsor is Rebook.

Yes the UFC base pay is more than Bellator since the UFC are the big dawgs on the block but fighters can actually make more money in Bellator thanks to having sponsors.
