Good to see young prospective guys. Champion or not we need skill like this in the younger talent pool

Another rory McDonald. Good at everything but not great at one specific thing. His cockiness in the octagon is his downfall.

You can't say future champ based off one short notice fight, talk about jumping on the band wagon.
 
Good performance by him, he did well to last 1 and 1/2 rounds with a guy like Ferguson, I thought he would get choked out early in 1st round, but lasted to 2nd which was impressive as Ferguson is next champ

He ate a ton of jabs, that is true. But he seems to have a good chin.
I believe he went too far with the showmanship to make that good first impression and it sure worked. He will probably take less risks when he has more to lose.

Anderson fought with his hands down for quite a while btw. Yes, I know it didn't end well, but it still worked for a long time.

He didn't just last till the second. He had Ferguson in real trouble in the first.
 
Fun to watch. Needs to keeps his hands up and check his ego at the door.

He could have possibly won that fight if he would have made adjustments after getting hit several times. Think about how much it would have done for his career to stop the #3 UFC LW in his sort notice debut... Instead he's a guy who "did surpringly well" but got choked out in round 2. Soon the performance will be forgotten by 90% or more (it was a weekday FS1 card) and he will just be a guy that lost to Ferguson.
Hope he learns from that fight, he has talent.

The guy was 8-1 (one sub loss) and a prize prospect from wink and jackson. Bet you didn't know that Noob. Guess who else was undefeated coming into the ufc from jackson. Hmm a young Jones...
