We saw how those respective fights went down. Holloway beat Aldo, Conor beat Aldo.

"This version"? What's this version as opposed to the two versions that lost vs Holloway and Conor?
 
Two of the best versions of Aldo we saw was before Conor (Aldo/Mendes2) and after Conor (Aldo/Edgar2).

Aldo is at least doing the right thing by making an effort to improve his stand up game. Gotta give the guy some respect for that. If he's a fast learner, he might even beat Max or Conor in a rematch one day - who knows? (Personally, though, I'll probably always put my money on Conor against him.)
