I chose blind, easily. I'm sure the day to day would be harder than if I were deaf, but music has the capacity to heal like nothing else (at least in my opinion). I'd probably kill myself pretty quickly if I didn't have music (even with the rest of my senses). It's saved my life so many times.

If i were blind, I couldn't see your face in every flower, so healing.

Deaf because I can still enjoy all of my hobbies except for music that way.

I listen to music all the tkme but the easy answer is eyes

Sight really is your main sense. Practically everything you do revolves around sight.

Also like @Swiftie said, I would be much more worried about my safety if I was blind.

I always feel pretty bad for blind people, don't mean to sound condescending. Guide dogs are absolute champs, their lives have been devoted to helping hoomans.

Despite the fact that I'd pick differently, I don't really disagree with you at all. I just couldn't imagine life without music, but that's a completely personal thing. I actually expect to be in the minority, but I'm very curious.

EDIT: I also agree that guide dogs are amazing and need all the pets

one consideration is that sign language probably nets you more social kudos than reading braille

The only plus to being deaf is you can get away with acting retarded.
Being able to still see everything in life, look at the faces of your loved ones, not stub your toe every day and watch porn seem like some pretty big plusses to me

I'm deaf and fuck blindness.

It's sort of sad that someone would rather hear than see.

I get it if you were like a professional musician or something. But sight wins 999/1000.

Deaf by far. You can still watch TV and be amused by how bad the Closed Captioning fail is.
