Like this guy:

Kinda weird that this guy has sunglasses on and a cane but is suddenly ready and willing to throw down with a short fat guy and two girls. I wonder if he'd be so eager to fight if instead it were two large men standing on the flag.

Anyway, does this type of thing bother you and would you rage about it?

Also, it's kind of weird to scream that people died for them to have the right to stand on the flag...as he is aggressively trying to deny them their right to stand on the flag. Go figure.

Doesn't count. College campuses are not part of the real world.

It depends on the reason for doing it.

No. I'd ask why but I wouldn't confront them or anything.

Yes. While you may not agree with everything your country does, stepping on the flag is an egregious act. If you really don't like living here (sufficiently so that you feel compelled to step on the flag), then it's probably time you get the fuck out.

Disrespecting the flag.... that's a paddling.

P.S: I am particularly sensitive to issues surrounding national pride because I know what the alternative is (living in a corrupt third world country). The life my family and I now enjoy is in no small part owed to Canada opening its borders and giving us an opportunity we could have only dreamed of.

These "protesters" are probably burnouts without a cause getting paid 9 bucks an hour.

Might bother me a bit if it's someone from a different Nation, but I wouldn't put my hands on anyone, 'cause I'm not a sociopath.

Defending the flag trumped faking a disability for insurance money in the heat of the moment

What reason(s) would be acceptable for you?

Protest against government or self-criticism, making a point about freedom, plenty of reasons.

Im not American but if i was i would not have any problem if someone protesting against the patriot act stepped on the flag. I wouldnt be mad at some people being fucked up by foreing policy burning flags either.

Shit like people cheering and burning flags in the aftermath of 9/11, now thats some people that would get me really pissed.

If it were an immigrant doing it, after we were nice enough to let them in, then yeah...I'd be pissed off. If it were some silly SJW delusional college cunt who couldn't comprehend how lucky he is to even be able to act like that, I would probably just laugh at them and make fun of them for being fucking dummies.Any citizen that is allowed to stomp on their countries flags need to check their flag stomping privileges..

nah, I had a whole lot of cheap flags once, but I needed some rags, and just used the flags.

I have had people pissed at me for less offenses. One time I was in small town PA, and instead of parking in the spot at the strip mall lot, I just pulled up to the curb in front of the store. Some old man gets pissed off at me. It was not a busy strip mall anyways so who cares.

Yes I would but I'm the patriotic type. That kind of thing wouldn't happen in my part of the country anyway and if it did, I wouldn't be alone in stomping the shit out of those people.

yeh, by the time you get to college, you need to understand you have to be civil especially on campus.

Civil on US campuses? I don't think the students have received your memo. For that matter, neither have the faculty.

Why are these people always so pathetic looking?
