I first of all saw this story on Dailymail (lol) and most of the commentors were on the side of the "victim". Faizon Love alleged that the airport valet tried to spit on him after an argument (while he was trying to back away). Apparently that set him off and he beat the shit out of him.

I think it's a no brainer. Even if the spit doesn't land, I'm filling the room with uppercuts. However, to some people, it's not a justification to beat someone's ass. What says Sherdog?

While you're at it try and answer every hypothetical question in the world. Of course it depends on the context, and the person that you are. At the gym I train at fighting is for sport and for self-defense. What is the objective of self defense? To keep you safe. If someone spit on me, I'd try and get away from them. I'm not going to kick someones ass just to prove I'm a tough guy. That's putting myself in more danger.
