Would you have rather seen Jon vs Stipe, or are you happier with Gane as the opponent?

I honestly didn't really care who Jones was going to be paired up with. I'm just glad we get to finally see him back in action. I find the HW move pretty intriguing and want to see if he can still have the same success.

My thoughts exactly. I saw Jesse on Fire made a vid about, why isn't Jon facing Stipe? And thought to myself, just be glad that thank JBG he isn't! I was fearing they would put him up against zombie Stipe for the longest time

Jon v Stipe made more sense from a legitamacy standpoint since prime Stipe 5-0d Ngannou. But in practice no one wanted to see that fight even Jones haters knew Stipe had no chance.

Gane/Jones is a sick fight. Gane matches Jones' size and athleticism. Stipe is old, worn down and most importantly, extremely undeserving.

I still have concerns they might have Stipe fight the winner haha. Hopefully Blaydes vs Pavlovitch winner. I'll be honest though LHW and HW are such bad divisions I really just don't follow them much anymore, they're the new Flyweight and Flyweight has been promoted to a near quality division now.

Would have preferred Blaydes. Curtis seems fine with the Pavlovich match up for next though. He is the guy best equipped to take and actively defend multiple times imo.

Jones has almost no chance against Gane. He's going to get styled on. He might try to wrestle him but it won't work. If Reyes was lighting him up and stuffing his TDs, think what larger and better Gane will do.

I'm glad it's not Stipe. Gane, Blaydes, and Pavlovich are all active fighters and don't act like divas. I would have preferred it be Blaydes, but any 1 of the 3 was acceptable.

I dont get the Stipe hate. Yes he got KOed by Francis, but he survived quite a few punches and stunned Francis. Jones has been inactive for longer is 35 years old and has not KOed anyone in over 4 yrs. He is coming off very close fights against inferior competition. People act like Jones is some sort of fighting God who doesnt age or slow down while Stipe is apparently in a wheelchair.
