Would you consider squat alternatives enough?

I moved a little over a year ago and am trying to build a home gym. I'm also saving to make a nice down payment on a house so I haven't got a power rack yet. I've been doing front squats for a substitute for back squats. My numbers have gone up significantly which I would imagine would crossover to back squat. When I started, my front squat was roughly 70% of my back squat. If my back squat did not go up at all, my front squat would be 85% of my back squat. I realize my front squat form has improved and I am now used to them, but I don't think my propotions would jump from 70% to 85%. There has to be some carryover.

Honestly, if you never did back squats again, but still did front squats, deadlifts and other hamstring exercises, I think you'd be fine. Unless you wanted to compete in powerlifting.
