I want to be able to say " Money isn't everything " from my Mega Yacht in Europe.

That's why you see Elon Musk is acting the way he does, the guy is not completely satisfied with life.

You think with all the money he has he'd be very happy or even just happy. I think he has plenty of problems and stress in his life.

He's just a simple man trying to return home to Mars

I already have an easy life, I do feel I could have accomplished a lot more if I pushed myself (or was pushed) but........ comfy, can't be bothered

I feel it's like asking do you want good luck, average luck or bad luck.

I'll take the good luck thanks, and i doubt I'd be lonely in choosing that.

I say that because humans continually seek advancement , the wins of yesterday are quickly normalised, and our focus turns to what we want next.

An easy life requires good luck in achieving the next goal.

Or maybe it simply requires averages along with more achievable goals.

If your next goal is super models on your mega yacht, life will be tough.

Being the face of cancelling USAID wouldn't be great for most people's self esteem.

I'm reminded of a cool quote from GOT S1E1 "a mad man sees what he sees ".

I'm not saying he is mad, but he ain't normal.

Btw if a video game or any game was easy would you keep playing it?
Good point. It would make me put the controller down, as it would be boring. God mode is cool for an hour...

I definitely do not wish to become Sisyphus or anything, only that having everything handed to you with no real work is fairly hollow. At least to me.

You make it sound like I’m a boring vapid person in this scenario. So no?

As a man I’m always gonna seek out challenges. If you’re just giving me athe opportunity to be well off and find something to compete at a high level (like Arman, I guess..) then yeah I choose that. Stakes don’t have to be life or death
