Would UFC do Carano/Rousey at ?

What do you think? Despite now being irrelevant in female MMA, it is still undeniable that If Gina could be enticed to a return to Primetime that UFC would jump at the chance to put that fight together. We also know that Gina would never be able to make 135, just like princess Cyborg isn't able to. Would the UFC and Ronda bend to Gina and expose their hypocrisy, and Ronda also expos

 

I would definitely watch. And i'll be rooting for Gina..

 

Same here. But I would not be surprised if Ronda gets the armbar in minutes.

 

It will be interesting to see how Ronda responds when someone figures out how to defend the take down and armbar.

Gina is not the same fighter she used to be. She would need a year in a good camp to challenge Rousey at this point of time.

 

Gina would get arm barred in a minute.
But one arm Gina is hotter than two arm Ronda so its cool.

 

If they could get Gina you bet your ass they would put that fight on in a heartbeat. Gina was what the UFC hopes Ronda becomes.

This fight is the biggest possible WMMA fight right now.

 

Considering that it's now been 3.5 years since Carano last fought and 4 years since her last win, I doubt she could compete at a level even near to Ronda without at least a year of training or a warm up fight

 

they'd do it. but without at least one fight before the title shot it'd be a huge joke. even with just one would be a joke.

 

Enticed?? Gina will not get back into the cage. If she would, she would have already. She has a movie career Adn that does not allow time to train for a professional fight. Also, she as way more money than Zuffa could offer her.

You don't get it. I have, and so have many others, broken down her takedowns. In the clinch, she takes her opponents TDD and reverses it in a flash and most times goes straignt into full mount.

Screw the TDD. Find a 7th degree black belt in JJ and pull her into guard straight up.

That's assuming the UFC is fair and logical which it is not. Dana isn't above doing a one off catch weight bout with no title on the line if it means he could get Gina and Ronda in the same cage

 

If Gina could come back, make 135, and beat someone like Tate, Kaufman, or Carmouche, I wouldn't mind seeing it. I would expect it to be relatively competitive (or at least Carano wouldn't get submitted within the first minute), and it's one of the biggest fights draw/name wise that the UFC could make for the women's division, save Rousey vs Cyborg.

There is no doubt the ufc would do it, no matter how silly it is.
