Very doubtful but today in MMA I wouldn't be surprised by anything.

How would it effect UFC if George St Pierre made headlines, after being offered a huge price by Bellator and he signed with them for a few fights?

I think the competition would be good for the sport. Am I wrong?

Many would say this would be impossible and maybe so. Since we have seen Benson Henderson go to Bellator, Phil Davis, and Matt Mitrione just signed. Rory Macdonald has said he is in renegotiation's for a new contract but that havent agreed on anything and is open to other organizations offers. This shows Bellator seems to be growing in popularity and better financially than before. We have seen shocking things in the MMA world in the past. Rampage Jackson is in Bellator again. Fighters already express how UFC doesnt treat thier fighters right. There are many BIG name UFC fighters such as Chad Mendes, Joe Louzon, Jake Ellenberger, Ryan Bader, Roy Nelson who just wont (most likely) go much further.

It wouldn't happen because he's still under contract, but if it did, at this stage in his career, it would be interesting.

It would be really aggravating to hear Dana talk crap about him while he was there, though.

That would never happen.

It would definitely give Bellator much needed fire power.

It would pull some viewers Bellator's way. GSP is still in the public eye, and him jumping ship would definitely make headlines.

Lol Dana would start the biggest smear campaign of his career. " GSwho? just some bum from up north "

Bellator would have to get a lot more from Viacom than they're getting now, they can't just dive into the chequebook whenever they feel like it.

LOL if there was a slight chance at grabbing GSP you best believe that's exactly what they'd do.

Bellator don't decide how much they get from Viacom, obviously if they could they would but they have to make a request any time they want to spend money.

Viacom would bend over and let GSP fuck them in the ass, your point is invalid when it comes to signing GSP

Dana would say something to the effect that they're in the market for guys moving up the rankings not down. Obviously he was overrated, etc. GSP vs bendo would be amazing.

You think Viacom knows who GSP is? They don't even care about MMA Bellator is just one of many assets.

Not a GSP fan, but I'd buy a PPV from Bellator with GSP on it no questions asked.

Not really. How many PPV's does Bellator do? You think GSP will be worth it to them for a few Spike shows?

Though with Coker maybe he will buy all these UFC talent guys and then put Bellator under and sold again, he seems quite good at it. They really need to be careful with how they move forward. bellator should really be working on building their own brand, not continually buying older ex UFC guys. It seems to be backfiring on them, as the last few have been disasters. Good freakshow fights perhaps, but complete shit shows.

I don't think he can because of the champion's clause. He was the UFC champion in his last fight.

Don't think it would matter much. GSP would fight a few nobodies and everyone would complain about him ducking the UFC WW division.

His fights would gather good PPV but it wouldn't change a bit the dynamic of the power between orgs.

He can't he's under Ufc contract.

Also Bellator doesn't pay guys millions of ppvs per fight
