Would Till do good at LHW akin to Rumble?

He cuts from 210, similiar weight cut to Rumble. Rumble didn't hit quite so hard at welterweight either if you recall. Till doesn't hit quite as hard, better overall technically.

I don’t think he has enough raw power to carry over to LHW effectively.

I think he is best suited for MW
 
I was thinking this yesterday, I don’t think Till has the same power that Rumble does( fucking nobody does). Rumble at 170 was flatlining people and they looked dead after he hit most of them lol. Till while being the bigger man just doesn’t carry that kind of punching power.

Yeah he even got outstruck by Josh Koscheck I remember.

Imo if till is cutting from 210 to 170 it shows that he isnt confident in his chances at 185 or 205 or at least his coaches aren't.

He should move up because while he has a size advantage at 170 he seems slow for his size. At 185 or 205 he may have a speed advantage. Worked for Whitaker and Gastelum.
 
Interesting... the competition is MUCH easier at LHW imo.


I think Till would add a breath of fresh air to LHW.

He would be a bit on the short side for a LHW striker and wouldn't enjoy a size advantage over anyone.

he loses to both Whittaker and gastulem anyway.
 
Other than what they supposedly weigh for ww they are completely different...

Rumble is bigger than Till. He is a bit taller and has longer reach.

Rumble is more much explosive and has more KO power.

Rumble was a good junior college wrestler. Rumble has owned Div I studs like Davis and Bader in grappling exchanges in MMA. Just lol @ the idea of Darren being able to do that.

He would do ever better and won that belt.
 
Like others have said let him try MW first, where he should be anyways.

Till vs Rockhold at LHW would be fun

Till at MW is even a hard road. Romero vs Till? Till loses ...on the other hand Till vs Branch is very interesting. Till has potential just still didnt show me anything amazing against Thompson
 
Rumble appears to be the naturally bigger guy so I doubt Till will knocking lhw out soon. Maybe in a couple years he will fill out more and we can all start talking about Lhw. I still doubt Till has the same power rumble had if he ever does move up.
