Would Santos have been a worse matchup for Blanchfield?

Hindsight is 20/20 but Blanchfield just seemed too big and fearless. Almost all of the opponents Andrade wins against they already are beat in the striking by being afraid of the power. Blanchfield simple bum rushed in and was too big and far away so was able to take a few to give a few to the point where Andrade was always backing up. Then the few grappling exchanges gassed her out. Not sure how much the short notice played on her cardio. Not sure how Santos' grappling would have held up but she's never really shown much weakness there and her size would cause problems. I wouldn't mind that being rebooked although after that win Blanchfield deserve a shot. I don't see her having much at this point though. Her striking was effective but not very technical, just more bullyish.

She’d be a way harder challenge

Santos is bigger than Erin
Santos is significantly better grappler than Jessica
Santos can strike very well
Santos has the height and reach advantage
Santos apparently is very physically strong

Yes, for sure, I was happy when Santo's fell out. Her wrestling and powerful straight punches would have been a major problem Erin most definitely.

I didnt think blanchfield bum rushed, just thought she threw straight punches that hit andrade in the face. Andrade is very hittable but she usually wins the striking first with short compact looping punches her opponent cant handle. Blanchfield took some but also stepped back and threw straight punches. Neither are the most technical, its more andrade can beat a certain type of fighter who cant defend her short looping punches so when she faces someone like that she looks unstopppable when her opponent can defend that, well you saw.

Yes.

I said that from the beginning
People were thinking Andrade was going to be a hardest test only because they are fucking casuals and Andrade is more known

High guard and reach/height saved Erin.

She still looked Robotic and forced but got the job done, without the size she would have fallen like the rest.

I think it was lack of prep time for Andrade. Andrade was getting into gear before she got taken to the ground. She was landing harder shots to Blanchfield. Blanchfield has an impressive poker face. She didn't panic when she got hit.

Fiorot would have been a good striking test for Blanchfield. Fiorot doesn't really brawl and works off blitzing with straight punches.
