Lando must be really banged up right now, but when he returns in a couple months I think he should fight a guy who can test him and give a good show for the fans. Probably not a top 15 guy though, to soon for that. So why make him fight Ross? A really gritty guy who's an excellent gatekeeper.

I don't want neither of these guys to lose, so I'd have to say no.

It would most probably be one hell of a fight though.

  4. I would like to see Lando beat on a washed fighter like Sanchez and Pearson fight a can to get back on track

Hmmm why not! But both really need a win next though. It will suck being the loser of that fight. Especially for Ross it could mean being cut from the UFC and he has a lot of mileage already.

Lol he won't have a chin by the time he even comes close to title shot given his style of fighting.

It would be like Prime Igor vs Prime CroCop.

Or like Prime Diaz vs Prime Florian.

    Prime Sensei vs Prime JCVD.

    Etc.

Lando basically whooped Ferguson's ass on short notice. I think he'd have won that fight if he hadn't been so out of shape. Dude's got awesome hands.

Lando vs Pearson would be a mismatch I think. Lando finishes it early.

It's too risky to match him up with Pearson with a full camp to prepare. I can't imagine Ferguson had a ton of time or tape to really study Lando.
Now, everyone in his weight class knows about him, and has some good footage to pick apart.

In my opinion, the UFC needs to play it smart and give him an aging fighter with a name they feel comfortable Vannata can beat, otherwise you take the chance of killing all momentum he created against Ferguson.

I'd hate to see Ross potentially lose three in a row, but the fight would be fun.
