Would Nate Diaz with D1 wrestling be the pound for pound #1?

I've watched all of his fights. And i know he has a black belt in BJJ, but he rarely uses it. I think it's because of the lack of wrestling. If he was a d1 wrestler he woulda have nice TDD and nice takedowns.

Conor pieced him up on the feet, and Nate tried to take him down, but his single, double leg takedowns were shitty.

Same for his brother really, just watch how he gets tossed around by GSP.

If Brock had the chin of Mark hunt and k-1 level striking would he be the GOAT?

dayna said conner was #1 p4p, and nate and he are 1-1 (though nate finished him and conne was gifted a decision over him in the rematch), so according to a terrible interpretation of dayna'a own words and a number of misteps in logical reasoning, he already is #1 p4p.

If he was a D1 wrestler, he wouldn't be as good in the areas he excels at now.

If Nate had an IQ higher than the average housepet, would he be a famous surgeon?

  11. His kicking is a bigger flaw than his wrestling.

If Khabib had Nate's striking he would be the best LW of all time

Yeah, because "piecing someone up" is how you win by 2/3 of a round in a 5-round fight.

But if he could have taken them down using his D1 level imaginary wrestling.

When his chin gives in he'll be one of the worst big name fighters. His game is almost straight out chin and out cardio guys. Gets tagged a lot on the feet and out positioned on the ground.

I think if I had d1 wrestling, k-1 striking, and world champ jitz I'd be the goat. I blame my parents.

Well his style would change more then likely,as he would be more explosive in nature.

What kind of stupid logic is this?

By your logic, Maty Serra is p4p1 because he beat Gsp

Serra beat Gsp, and Nate picked up a fluke short notice win over Conor...

Both Gsp and Conor then destroyed Serra/Nate in the rematches. End of story

Conor dropped Nate's big ass 3x and disfigured his face.

NOT one judge or media outlet gave Nate the win, so stop with that delusional non sense.

The ONLY ONE who got a GIFT WAS NATE.

Nate was gifted a draw he didnt earn.

Conor clearly beat Nate's ass 3-2 (4-1 IMO)

You have no understanding of combat sports

Even Sugar Ray Robinson, who many consider the greatest boxer ever, lost more then his fair share of fights

    Shit happens

Conor IS the real P4P#1 because hes the only fighter in MMA to actually prove that his skills transcend weight in a p4p setting...Conor has wins in 3 different weight classes, beat a 2 weight classes bigger top 5 Nate, and IS the first in UFC history to be a simultaneous 2 belt holder....

Thats the very definition of POUND FOR POUND. Conor EPITOMIZES pound for pound skill..if that doesnt make you p4p1 then NO one else can ever be ranked...

Conor is the complete opposite of Jones

Jones is nothing but size. Jones has never decisively beaten anyone his size and Jones has always had height reach and weight over every opponent hes ever fought. Jones shouldnt evrn be ranked in the top 20 P4P

And Mini-Mouse like Jones doesnt belong in the conversation either (both dont)

Mini-Mouse had his chance to prove his p4p worth against Cruz AND HE WAS OUT CLASSED...plus Mini-Mouses division is even weaker then the womens 145lb division...It was just started and its already a more stacked division then Mini-Mouses lol
