Would Max becoming “Champ-Champ” give him that push towards superstardom?

It would be him getting his second belt at the same time over the hardest possible to competition. He hasn’t seemed to be able to break through yet et the ufc hasn’t really been pushing. It would be a bad look if a champ-champ is still selling 200k ppvs.

Max will not become a superstar.

I say no. Great fighter, just not very charismatic.

Yep, that’s a way for him. It’s complicated to market him

Yes, it helps his brand immensely.

A long road to the FW title, 2x wins over Aldo and a LW championship win over someone who is way better than Alveraz easily outdoes Conor's accomplishments.

Champ-Champ..... Would be huge. But that is only part of being a star in the UFC. Trash Talk and Hype is what keeps the casual interested.

He would be a pretty damn big deal and then the immediate anticipation of the Conor rematch would make him even bigger.

I think he could be. Max is really active and could actually defend both belts

His actual legacy as a fighter could be huge...he seems like he’d actually try to actively defend both too

I don't think it'd be enough to become a breakout mainstream star. He'd be one of the biggest, if not the biggest star, within the MMA bubble, not counting those mainstream stars. And he'd become a big fight for Conor, which could make him that mainstream star. But without Conor, no, I don't think so.

No but I almost guarantee it would get Conor to come back for another match with him and that would get him superstardom

It would really be epic shit if you ask me. But I don’t think he will beat Khabib.

And seemingly invincible type performances which Conor has a few of.

Does he have The It factor?

He probably won't be a Ronda/Conor superstar, but if he beats Khabib he's one of the GOATs.
