Would GSP still be retired if Bisping hadn’t won the belt?

Or would he have challenged Romero, Whittaker, or Woodley?

He would have never gone to MW, that’s for sure.

They probably would have booked GSP vs Conor for the new 165 lb division title.

Just so one of them can have another belt

I think he would have comeback, probably against Conor or other top WW, no way in hell he would have fought at MW if it's wasn't for Bisping being the worst and weakest champ in all UFC

I dont know but Anderson surely went up a weight class to challenge himself against world class competitions in Forrest, Bonnar and Irvin

No-one gives a fuck.
Many worship GSP, and others have questions about his integrity and motivations. It's as simple as that. These questions have been asked before. So, yes, people actually do care about the matter.

You asshats know that when George first started talking to Dana about coming back and challenging for the mw belt rocksalt was still MW champ right?

He had been putting size on for a while, had talked about a possible mw run after he was done with ww and had the time to put the size on years and years back.

It’s not like the day Bisping won he said “fuck it, time to get off the couch, I’ve trained with that dipshit I know I can throw his ass around”

Was he happy about it, I’m sure Bisping while being hated on here , has had a decent career and is a decent draw.

Does more for him than fighting say Whitaker for example.

In a couple more years Whitaker could go on to be a great, But he could easily lose soon too and be another flash in the pan that was almost great but never reached his potential.

People thought Hendricks was gonna he an unstoppable destroyer the way he came onto the scene at WW, look at his ass now.

Whitaker’s career could have the same arc.

Time will tell.

Gsp defeated the guy who just defeated Henderson who KTFO Fedor.

Forrest wasn’t right in the head anymore, and Irvin had a stupid game plan and was plagued by injuries.

In different circumstances they both could have possibly beaten Anderson.

Hell Irvin even transformed into skeletor to make mw to try and get a run going so he could fight Anderson again.

Shit just didn’t work.

Making gsp> Fedor lol.

People hate on the Bisping win, but he has some great wins in his career.

It’s not like he was Houston Alexander.

You think a lot about Georges bruh. A lot. I like your other threads where you are an MMA fan, not someone rabid over a fighter you don’t like.

You also have selective ethics. It’s too bad because you know your shit generally but you expose yourself in these types of threads.

Sure, plenty to criticize about Georges. Just as there is about Aldo and Silva. You just have selective memory and ethics.

People hate GSP because he's still on top long after their favourite fighters have fallen

Fedor is nothing when compared to GSP. When Fedor finally started to fight decent competition he got exposed by a 100 year old MW fighter.

I have no idea what GSP would have done if things were different. We'll never know for sure. But the fact remains that he beat the MW champ. It's still a great accomplishment and I didn't expect him to win.
